Stroll across the famous Krämerbrücke – the longest bridge in Europe lined with houses – or visit the impressive St. Mary's Cathedral and the Severikirche, which together shape the striking cityscape. Numerous small shops, cafés, and restaurants also invite you to linger. In the late afternoon, you will continue your journey and finally reach Dresden. After checking into your centrally located hotel, enjoy a joint dinner.
Our Dresden city guide will meet you in the morning for a tour of the historic old town and the late Baroque complex of the Zwinger courtyard (outside visit), passing the famous Fürstenzug to the Frauenkirche on the Neumarkt. Here, you will attend the organ devotion and learn a lot about the reconstruction during the central church tour. The afternoon is entirely yours – perhaps you will use the time for a museum visit? In addition to architecture, Dresden also offers a vibrant cultural scene. Museums such as the Gemäldegalerie and the Green Vault house significant art treasures. In the evening, we recommend attending the chamber opera "The Magic Flute in a different way" with the Dresden Residence Orchestra at the Wallpavillion in the Dresden Zwinger (optional, performance starts at 5:00 PM, duration: approx. 90 minutes including a break).
