1st Day | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Dresden. After checking into your room, the rest of the day is at your leisure. Take the opportunity to explore the baroque old town with its impressive buildings, stroll along the Elbe, or enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the many cafés. In the evening, dinner at the hotel, where you can relax and unwind after the first day of travel.

2nd Day | Dresden – Optional: Dresden

Zwinger

After breakfast, the day begins with a guided city tour. An experienced city guide will show you the most important sights of Dresden, including the impressive Frauenkirche, which was rebuilt after its destruction in World War II and is now seen as a symbol of peace and reconciliation. During the central church tour in the Frauenkirche, you will learn a lot about the reconstruction. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the early evening, we recommend attending a concert at the Wallpavillon in the Dresden Zwinger. Experience the concert “Spring Awakening” with the Dresden Residence Orchestra (optional, performance starts: 5:00 PM, duration: approx. 90 minutes including intermission). Afterwards, you have the opportunity to enjoy the evening in a typical Dresden old town restaurant with a 3-course menu.

3rd Day | Easter Capital Bautzen – Ballet

“The Magic Flute”

Today you will travel to Bautzen. After attending the so-called Easter riding with about 100 festively decorated riders, you will take a tour of the medieval Bautzen. Individual lunch break and return to the hotel. After an early dinner, you will head to one of the most impressive landmarks of the city – the Semperoper. Experience one of the most famous works of opera literature in one of the most beautiful opera houses in Europe: Mozart's “The Magic Flute” (start: 7:00 PM, performance duration: approx. 3 hours). The fairy-tale plot uniquely combines humor, fantasy, and profound symbolism. Accompany Prince Tamino on his adventurous journey, where he, together with the lovable bird catcher Papageno, must pass numerous trials to win the love of the beautiful Pamina. The magnificent staging, the impressive acoustics of the Semperoper, and Mozart's timeless music make this opera evening an unforgettable cultural highlight of your trip.

4th Day | Return Journey

After breakfast, you will begin your journey home and can reflect on the experiences of the past days.
