Day 1 | Outbound Flight Bari - Arrival in Vieste

(approx. 190 km)

Transfer to the airport and flight from Frankfurt, with a short layover in Munich, to Bari. Upon arrival, you will continue your journey to Vieste by bus. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Garden Hotel Ripa (local category).

Day 2 | Peschici – Foresta Umbra (approx. 92 km)

Drive to Peschici, which is picturesque perched on a cliff above the Adriatic coast. During a short tour, you will get to know the charming old town better. Afterwards, head to Foresta Umbra, the green heart of the Gargano National Park. During your stay, you will learn interesting facts and can try a regional pastry specialty with almonds and caramelized sugar. On the way back to the hotel, you will visit an olive mill and participate in an olive oil tasting.

Day 3 | Monte Sant'Angelo – Bari – Marina di Ginosa (approx. 310 km)

You will drive up to Monte Sant'Angelo and visit the famous sanctuary of San Michele, whose extraordinary church is partially built into the rocks. Then continue to Bari, the lively capital of Apulia. In the afternoon, you will finally reach Marina di Ginosa. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Hotel Torreserena Resort (local category).

Day 4 | Castellana Caves – Alberobello – Ostuni (approx. 227 km)

Drive to Italy's most famous stalactite caves, the Castellana Caves. Afterwards, visit Alberobello, the capital of the Trulli. The characteristic white round houses with their conical roofs shape entire neighborhoods and have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The return trip to the hotel takes you through Ostuni, the "White City".

Day 5 | Matera – Altamura (approx. 160 km)

Near Matera, you will visit the so-called Sassi in the morning, a settlement built into two rocky gorges and caves, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back in Apulia, visit Altamura and discover the historic old town with its impressive cathedral and the characteristic "Claustri". Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 6 | Castel del Monte – Seiano di Vico Equense (approx. 400 km)

On your way to the Mediterranean coast, another highlight awaits you: the mysterious Castel del Monte. The perfectly symmetrical, octagonal building is one of the most extraordinary medieval castles in Italy. Afterwards, you will continue to the Sorrento area, to Seiano di Vico Equense. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Grand Hotel Moon Valley (local category).

Day 7 | Amalfi Coast

Your drive takes you along the famous Amalfitana, which impressively winds between steep cliffs and deep blue sea. The first stop is the picturesque village of Positano. Then visit the town of Amalfi, one of the oldest maritime republics in Italy, which is said to have been founded by Constantine the Great. Afterwards, enjoy a boat trip from Amalfi to Maiori, taking in the stunning coastal scenery from the water. In Maiori, known for its long beach, lemon terraces, and Mediterranean flair, your bus will be waiting for the return trip to the hotel.
