Day 1 | Arrival in Alsace – Colmar
Departure in the morning to Colmar. During a guided tour of the old town, you will get to know the charming old town with the “Maison Pfister” and the small alleys along the Lauch River, which gives Colmar the nickname “Little Venice.” Continue to your hotel in Rouffach.
Day 2 | Haut Koenigsbourg – Pfifferdaj Festival
Drive to Haut Koenigsbourg. The castle was built in the 12th century and witnessed several centuries of internal European conflicts and rivalries between lords, kings, and emperors. Visiting the castle will be an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, continue to Ribeauvillé. The picturesque old town with its winding streets and the scenic city park is the venue for the oldest festival in Alsace. At the Pfifferdaj, which translates to the Festival of Fiddlers, the Middle Ages come alive. Experience the grand parade. Pay special attention to the village fountain, from which, on this occasion, not water but Alsatian wine flows.
Day 3 | Strasbourg – Return Journey
Drive to Strasbourg. Here, your tour guide is already waiting for you. Strasbourg in Alsace is one of the most beautiful cities in the world – not least because of the city's landmark, the famous Strasbourg Cathedral. After the city tour, you will still have the opportunity for lunch. Afterwards, you will begin your journey home.
