Travel Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival – Fritzlar

Departure in the morning towards Bad Wildungen. In Fritzlar, you will make a stopover around lunchtime. The charm of the marketplace is framed by a unique half-timbered ensemble, which houses cafés and lovely little shops. After that, continue to Bad Wildungen to the hotel. Settle into your rooms at your leisure and treat yourself to some relaxation in the wellness lounge before you are expected for a joint dinner.

Day 2 | Bad Wildungen

Today you will get to know Bad Wildungen better. In the morning, you will marvel at Europe's largest spa park with its old trees and beautifully designed flower beds. You will stroll past the artworks and learn interesting facts about the healing springs and their effects during a visit to the Wandelhalle Bad Wildungen. In the afternoon, you will explore the historic old town of Bad Wildungen. There is much to discover in the old town – from narrow medieval alleys and sturdy city walls with defensive towers to stately half-timbered facades with intricate carvings and elaborately decorated front doors. Afterwards, you will have time to wander through the old town individually. In the evening, there will be a joint dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 | Kassel

After breakfast, you will travel to Kassel. During a city tour, you will get an initial impression of the city of Kassel. You will learn everything important about the sights in the city center as well as about Europe's largest mountain park, Wilhelmshöhe. The route takes you past numerous sights such as the Martinskirche, the Ottoneum, the Fridericianum Museum, the Karlsaue with the Orangery, and the Kongress Palais Kassel. A trip to Hercules is, of course, a must. A view from above of the mountain park with Wilhelmshöhe Castle and Löwenburg rounds off the program. Afterwards, you will have free time in the city center. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.

Day 4 | Tour through the Edersee Region

After breakfast, you can enjoy wonderful views of the region during a tour. You will go to the former residence city of Bad Arolsen, with a stop at the residence castle and the Diemel dam. After an individual lunch break in Willingen, you will drive back to the hotel via Korbach and along the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.

Day 5 | Alsfeld – Return Journey

This morning, you can use the hotel facilities one last time before leaving Bad Wildungen at noon and heading to Alsfeld. Here you can stroll through the old town and, to conclude, stop by one of the numerous local establishments. Afterwards, you will begin your journey home.
