Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Beckenried in Central Switzerland. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel. Room allocation and dinner at the hotel. The rest of the evening is free for your own activities.

Day 2 | Pilatus – Lucerne

Experience an unforgettable day in Lucerne! First, you will take the cable car from Kriens to Pilatus, the majestic mountain of Lucerne. Once at the top, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Lucerne and the impressive peaks of the Bernese Alps. For lunch, you can enjoy a traditional, delicious cheese fondue at the Pilatus Kulm restaurant (optional). In the afternoon, discover the most beautiful sights of Lucerne on a city tour: the historic Chapel Bridge, the impressive Lion Monument, and the magnificent Hofkirche. For dinner, you will return to the hotel.

A very special highlight awaits you during the trip from 11.01. – 15.01.2027. At the LILU Light Festival, artists from around the world present diverse and fascinating facets of light art. There are creative light installations, light shows, and the streets, sights, and squares of the city are creatively illuminated. To experience this, you will receive lunch on Pilatus (instead of dinner at the hotel) on this day. In the afternoon, you will not only discover the sights of Lucerne on a tour but also the most beautifully illuminated places. Afterwards, you can explore the brightly lit Lucerne individually. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3 | In the Footsteps of the Glacier Express

Today your journey takes you to the charming mountain village of Andermatt, where the impressive train ride on the Glacier Express route begins. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular panoramic route through the snowy Swiss winter landscape. From the Oberalp Pass, you will descend to Sedrun before changing trains in Disentis. On the way to Chur, experience the wild romantic Rhine Gorge, also known as the “Swiss Grand Canyon.” Here your bus will meet you for the return to the hotel.

Day 4 | Zurich – Lindt Chocolate World

The largest city in Switzerland combines history, culture, and nature in a compact space. The old town with its winding streets, historic houses, and famous churches like the Grossmünster and Fraumünster with the famous windows by Marc Chagall is particularly worth seeing. On the return to the hotel, you will make a stop in Kilchberg and visit the Lindt Chocolate World “Home of Chocolate.” Here you will learn exciting things about the history of chocolate, and various types of chocolate will be offered for tasting.

Day 5 | … unfortunately, return home!

Enjoy the breakfast buffet at your hotel one last time. With many impressions and one or two souvenirs, you will begin your journey home.

The hotel is located directly on the southern shore of Lake Lucerne, at an altitude of about 435 m, nestled between the lake and the mountains. It features a restaurant, bar directly by the lake, elevator, conference room, terrace, garden, and Wi-Fi. The 41 rooms are equipped with a bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, radio, mini-safe, tea/coffee tray, and Wi-Fi.
