Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in the Altmühltal
In the morning, drive towards the Altmühltal. You will make a short stop in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Free time and then continue to Titting/Emsing. Check into the hotel and have dinner.
Day 2 | Altmühltal
Today, our knowledgeable tour guide will take you on an excursion through the Altmühltal. Drive through the lower Altmühltal, past Riedenburg, castles, and Essing to Kelheim. Here, it’s time to set sail for a boat trip through the Danube Gorge to the Weltenburg Monastery. You will have free time. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel and have dinner.
Day 3 | Regensburg
After breakfast, you will take a trip to Regensburg. On a guided walk, you will see all the important sights of the city, such as the cathedral, the Stone Bridge, the Porta Praetoria, the towers of the patrician families, and the Old Town Hall. After some free time, you will return to the hotel. Enjoy your free time until dinner in the hotel’s wellness area.
Day 4 | Return Journey
Today, you will begin your journey home. The last point of interest is Dinkelsbühl on the Romantic Road. During a city tour through the beautiful old town alleys, you will discover the most interesting sights. Afterwards, free time and return journey.
