Day 1 | Arrival in Sonnental

Departure in the early morning and drive south – Bella Italia. With a “Welcome Home Drink,” you are warmly welcomed, followed by room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Nonstal – Apple Processing

Accompanied by a local guide, you will take a trip to Nonstal after breakfast to the Melchiori apple winery. During the tour of the production area, you will learn how fresh apples are turned into juice, vinegar, and apple wine. Of course, the products can be tasted. After that, you will head to the nearby lakes Coredo and Tavon, two artificial water basins created in 1958 for irrigation. It’s time for a walk and to linger before you return to the hotel.

Day 3 | Scenic Train Ride to Trento

After breakfast, you will start your train city experience. Just about 500 meters from the hotel, you will board the “Trentino Trasporti” train, which will take you on a panoramic tour from Val di Sole, through Val di Non to the provincial capital Trento. The route passes by apple orchards, forests, and castles, offering unforgettable views of the landscape. After nearly two hours, you will reach Trento, the jewel in the heart of the Alps. Your knowledgeable guide is already waiting for you and will show you the history and sights of this unique art city during a subsequent city tour. There will be free time before you return to the hotel by coach.

Day 4 | Brenta Dolomites

Today you will take a day trip to the magnificent mountain world of the Brenta Dolomites – don’t forget your camera! Drive over Madonna di Campiglio, at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites with spectacular views of the mountains. Continuing to Carisolo and the “Val Genova” in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, you will visit the Nardis waterfalls (optional – weather permitting). Through the Rendena Valley, you will reach the gem Pinzolo and visit the church of San Vigilio and the fresco painting “Danza Macabra” (Dance of Death). Then to Lake Molveno, a “lapis lazuli” in the midst of the Dolomites! Its special fascination lies in the crystal-clear waters reflecting the rock towers of the Brenta Dolomites, an extraordinary mix of blue and green hues that can deceive the observer and make them confuse the shore with the reflection. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 | Free Time

You have free time for your own activities – use your “Val di Sole Guest Card,” which offers you many discounts, e.g., discounts on various cable cars, free train use between Mezzana and Trento, free bus rides in Val di Sole and Trentino, and free or discounted entry to some museums in Val di Sole and Trentino.

Day 6 | Return Journey
