Easter trip to the land of the Franks

Day 1 | Bamberg – Arrival in Bad Staffelstein

Departure in the morning and drive to Bamberg. During a guided tour, you will experience how unique Bamberg is. In the historic ensemble of the city with churches and monasteries, with bridges, narrow alleys, and squares, with half-timbered houses and baroque facades, you can still feel the magic of the past today. Afterwards, there will be some free time. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Bad Staffelstein-Schwabthal. Here, you will be warmly welcomed at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 | Kulmbach – Basilica of Fourteen Holy Helpers

After breakfast, the drive takes you to Kulmbach. Discover the winding streets of the Kulmbach old town and learn a lot about the history and present of the city. Around lunchtime, you have free time and can strengthen yourself in a brewery (self-pay). In the afternoon, you will visit the Basilica of Fourteen Holy Helpers, a baroque masterpiece of world fame and the most famous pilgrimage church in Franconia. It was built according to the plans of the famous architect Balthasar Neumann. To conclude the day, you will make a stop at the Banz Monastery.
