Even from the water, Tyrol shows its most beautiful side. A boat trip on Lake Achensee offers you magnificent views of the surrounding mountain world. Tyrolean hospitality and atmospheric musical moments make this journey a special experience in the heart of the Alps.

Day 1 | Arrival

Arrival in the morning and drive to the beautiful Zillertal to Zell am Ziller. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel with a homemade welcome schnapps. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Rattenberg – Zillertal Railway with Music

Today you will visit the smallest town in Austria, Rattenberg. Experience the special medieval flair during an individual stroll. Afterwards, you will take the steam train of the Zillertal Railway with atmospheric music from Jenbach to Mayrhofen (or vice versa).

Day 3 | Krimml Waterfalls – Pinzgauer Railway

Today, visit the mighty three-tiered Krimml Waterfalls. The roaring masses of water exert a fascination that is hard to resist. A well-developed viewing path leads along the waterfalls, which then takes you into one of the most beautiful national park valleys, the Krimmler Achental. Today, you will travel through one of the most picturesque landscapes in the Alps on the Pinzgauer Local Railway, one of the most attractive narrow-gauge railways in Austria.

Day 4 | Achensee Railway – Gramaital – Achensee Boat Trip

Strengthen yourself at breakfast before you set off for Achensee, the largest lake in the country. Starting from Jenbach, you will experience a pleasant time travel to the past century through the slow and steady movement. The journey through the wild romantic landscape, steeply uphill and with a beautiful view from a snorting steam locomotive pushed upwards at a breathtaking speed of 9 km/h, is fascinating and leaves a lasting impression. Afterwards, the bus will take you further into the Gramaital, where you can enjoy Tyrolean hospitality with a view of the surrounding Karwendel mountains! Afterwards, we have reserved an idyllic panoramic boat trip for you. Enjoy the wild romantic landscape of the sparkling jewel, majestically situated between two massive mountain ranges before returning to the hotel. (Program changes possible due to schedule changes)

Day 5 | Return Journey

With many beautiful memories in your luggage, you will begin your return journey after breakfast.

For 16 generations, the Hotel & Guesthouse Bräu and the Zillertal Brewery have been family-owned. Located in the heart of Zell, right at the village square, the house stands.
