Day 1 | Arrival in Münsterland

Departure in the morning and drive to Münsterland. To get in the mood for the trip, you will discover the beautiful sides of the venerable bishop and university city of Münster during a guided city tour. You will see the historic town hall, the Prinzipalmarkt lined with magnificent patrician houses, the mighty St. Paul's Cathedral, and the famous Astronomical Clock. Afterwards, drive to the hotel, check into your room, and have dinner.

Day 2 | Botanical Garden – Free Time in Münster

After breakfast, drive to Münster. During a guided tour of the Botanical Garden behind the Münster Castle, you will discover the diverse plant world and learn interesting facts about the different garden areas. Afterwards, you will have plenty of time for an individual stroll through the historic old town, for shopping, or for a cozy break in one of the many cafés. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Day 3 | Three Pearls of Münsterland

After breakfast, your tour through the beautiful Münsterland begins – around 100 castles and palaces are scattered throughout the entire Münsterland. First, you will visit Hülshoff Castle, the birthplace of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. During a guided tour of the park and around the water castle, you will gain interesting insights into the historic estate and the life of the famous poetess. A family tradition spanning over 500 years gave it the original Münsterland character and appearance. In Lüdinghausen, you will receive a guided tour of the Vischering castle complex, which is considered an ideal example of a Münsterland water castle.
