Travel Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in the Old Country

Departure in the morning and drive to Wingst in the Cuxhaven region. The hotel team will introduce themselves with a Nordic welcome drink. After dinner, you can enjoy a film evening about the Cuxland to get in the mood for beautiful Northern Germany.

Day 2 | Bremerhaven

Today you will take a trip to the vibrant port city of Bremerhaven. Learn everything about fish. An unforgettable experience awaits you in the old fishing port – watch how the fish comes to the plate. Of course, you will get to taste some of these delicacies, accompanied by a sip of local spirits. Afterwards, you will stop in the heart of the city: take a walk along the Weser dyke and enjoy your time in the covered Columbus Center with its numerous shops. The journey continues through the impressive ore and container port to the observation platform to view the bustling activity of a world-class port from above. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3 | Stade – Altländer Blossom Festival

After breakfast, you will visit the old Hanseatic city of Stade with its lovingly restored old town. Your guide will lead you through narrow cobblestone streets past charming old half-timbered houses and explain all the sights of this 1000-year-old Hanseatic city. After some free time, you will drive through the famous Old Country – Germany's largest fruit-growing region. The drive will take you to Jork to visit the Altländer Blossom Festival – a feast for all senses! With nearly 130 lovingly designed stalls, the festival grounds transform into a large open-air gallery. Discover genuine handicrafts made with heart and hand. The variety of crafts is accompanied by a culinary journey through the region. The highlight is the coronation ceremony on the main stage of the Blossom Festival. Let yourself be carried away and enjoy the atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Helgoland

After breakfast, you will take a full-day excursion to the offshore island of Helgoland. There are many islands along the North Sea coast, but none compare to Helgoland. About 70 km from the mainland, Germany's only offshore island rises from the water, particularly known for its red cliffs of sandstone. Helgoland offers more than nature, sun, beach, and an unspoiled environment. The boat trip to Helgoland departs from Cuxhaven. The prominently visible Lange Anna is a natural wonder and the landmark of Helgoland. The 47-meter-high, free-standing rock impresses with its red glowing sandstone. On the island, you will have free time. The colorful lobster huts in the lower land offer opportunities for strolling and enjoying. After returning to the hotel, a traditional fish dinner will be served. Enjoy deliciously prepared, freshly caught fish from the North Sea.

Day 5 | Departure

Today it is time to say goodbye. After breakfast, you will embark on your journey home with many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage.
