Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Greifswald

Departure in the morning and drive to Greifswald, where you will be warmly welcomed at the hotel. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Greifswald and Kaisermeile Usedom

In the morning, you will get to know the beautiful old town with the historic marketplace of Greifswald during a city tour. Around noon, the journey takes you via Wolgast to the island of Usedom, where you will experience an impressive island tour. The seaside resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin shape the history of spa life on the island of Usedom. In the center, you will find the famous piers, with Ahlbeck being the oldest on the Baltic Sea coast and Heringsdorf the longest of its kind in continental Europe. You have the opportunity for a walk on the promenades or an individual coffee break. In the evening, you return to your hotel for dinner. (Note: The daily spa tickets for the seaside resorts during the excursion, e.g., Usedom approx. 3,– per person, are to be paid on-site.)

Day 3 | Island of Rügen

After breakfast, you will travel over the Rügen Causeway to the island of Rügen. Along the Great Jasmunder Bodden, you will drive to Cape Arkona, the northernmost point of the island with its two lighthouses. Discover breathtaking views and rugged landscapes during a ride on the Arkona train. Afterwards, the journey takes you back to Greifswald via Putbus and Stralsund. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (Note: The daily spa ticket for, e.g., Binz/Rügen approx. 3,– per person, is to be paid on-site.)

Day 4 | Hiddensee

The car-free island of Hiddensee awaits you as another highlight. You will take the ferry from Stralsund to “dat söte Länneken,” as the island is colloquially known. The island lies, like a seahorse, off the west coast of Rügen. Here, you will find not only unique nature but also a calming tranquility. You will get an initial overview during a carriage ride from Vitte across the heath to the main village of Kloster. Your tour guide will show you everything you need to know about this island gem today as well. In the afternoon, you will take the ferry back to Stralsund and return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 | Return Journey

After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. With many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage, you will begin your journey home.
