Departure in the morning and drive to the far southwest of Germany. You will spend lunchtime in Freiburg im Breisgau, a city that radiates a Mediterranean flair not only because of its mild climate. Particularly characteristic of this university town are the “Bächle,” small streams that run through the entire old town. The medieval city center is worth seeing. In the afternoon, travel to Badenweiler to your hotel. After checking into your room, you can get to know Badenweiler with a first individual stroll through the town.
Day 2 | Spa Town Badenweiler
In the morning, you will start a guided tour of the old town of Badenweiler with a local guide. In the spa park, you will find the ruins of Baden Castle, the Grand Ducal Palace, the Hildegard von Bingen Garden, and the Roman bath ruins, which are adjacent to the Cassiopeia Thermal Spa – a historically significant spa town. In the afternoon, enjoy free time in Badenweiler. Also, take advantage of the amenities of the hotel.
Days 3 & 4 | Free Time
Design the days according to your wishes. Right in front of the hotel begins the spa park with the Cassiopeia Thermal Spa, the shopping street Luisenstraße, and about 80 meters away is the spa house with event rooms. With your KONUS card, you receive some discounts and can use public transport throughout the Black Forest free of charge. Or book one of the soothing treatments on the soft pack bed at the hotel (therapeutic attractions can be booked individually). A bath in the “liquid gold – thermal water” should not be missed. The hotel’s movement pool is supplied with the original thermal water from the Römerquelle through its own thermal water pipeline.
