Dumpling Festival in St. Johann

Day 1 | Arrival

Arrival in Tyrol. You are warmly welcomed at the traditional family-run Sporthotel Tirolerhof.

Day 2 | Kitzbühel and Tyrolean Mountains

Today you will embark on a tour through the beautiful natural landscape of Tyrol. You will drive through valleys and villages, with almost constant views of one of the many mountain peaks. In Kitzbühel, you will take a walk and then have time for a little stroll through the picturesque town center.

Day 3 | Almabtrieb Söll – Dumpling Festival St. Johann

In the morning, you will travel to the Almabtrieb in Söll at the Wilden Kaiser. Experience the festive opening of the Almabtrieb. Here, the herders drive the colorfully decorated alpine cattle through the village into their home stables after a good summer season. Afterwards, you will travel to St. Johann and visit this year's Dumpling Festival. Local hosts serve hearty specialties from the region as the highlight of the alpine festival weeks, and the "Speckbacherstraße" in the middle of St. Johann transforms into the longest dumpling table in the world this Saturday. More than 20 different flavors will be served. Music fans will also get their fill: lively bands will accompany the dumpling table with their sounds.

Day 4 | Return Journey

After breakfast, you will begin your journey home.
