Day 1 | Strasbourg – Arrival in Umkirch

Departure in the morning and drive to Strasbourg. The two-thousand-year-old city is characterized by an incredibly rich cultural heritage and is represented three times on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During a city tour, you will explore the historic center of Strasbourg and discover the neighborhoods of the old town – from the cathedral to the former tanners' district 'Petite France'. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Christmas market, known in Alsatian dialect as 'Christkindelsmärik', which is one of the oldest Christmas markets in France. A unique atmosphere prevails. The facades and streets shine in their most beautiful splendor, the shop windows glow, and the scent of cinnamon and spices awakens childhood memories. Let yourself be enchanted. In the late afternoon, you will continue to Umkirch. After checking into your room, we invite you to dinner at a nearby restaurant. Overnight stay.

Day 2 | Eguisheim – Colmar

After breakfast, you will take an excursion into the fairy tale world of Alsatian Christmas and first visit Eguisheim. The medieval town is among the 'most beautiful villages in France' and sparkles and shines during the Christmas season. In the afternoon, you will continue to Colmar. During a guided tour through the narrow streets, let the Christmas customs of Alsace be told to you and discover the enchanting winter scenery of the city. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the six Christmas markets in the heart of the historic old town. Market stalls, Christmas decorations, and lights as far as the eye can see. The Christmas market takes you into a magical Christmas world, and you will be left in awe. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3 | Freiburg and the Ravenna Gorge

Today, the journey takes you to Freiburg. We invite you to a culinary Advent tour. Gingerbread and cookies must not be missing. But how did the people of Freiburg actually come to these sweet temptations? Experience the history of Freiburg from its sweet side during a leisurely walk through the historic old town and try small treats while warming up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to discover the Freiburg Christmas market with its enchanting atmosphere and diverse offerings. In the late afternoon, a special experience awaits you. You will visit the Christmas market in the Ravenna Gorge. When a magnificent stone viaduct rises above a snow-covered, illuminated village of huts, and when a train rushes over the gorge through red, blue, and green light fog, it is not a scene from a Harry Potter movie, but a heavenly enchanting reality. Experience traditional crafts and Christmas music, while a varied selection of food and drinks offers something for every taste. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4 | Baden-Baden – Return Journey

After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. In Baden-Baden, you will make a stop. At the traditional Christmas market in front of the Kurhaus Baden-Baden, a winter fairy tale of a special kind awaits you. Christmas happiness in the flair of the World Heritage city, framed by the mountains of the Black Forest. After an individual lunch break, you will begin your journey home.
