Experience the Palatinate with the E-Bike

Day 1 | Bad Dürkheim - Landau

Departure in the morning and drive to Bad Dürkheim, where you will "switch bikes" and cycle with a local tour guide through the spa park, into the vineyards towards Wachenheim, Forst, and Deidesheim. Passing the Geißbock fountain, the route leads to Königsbach and Gimmeldingen. After passing the Haardter Schlösschen, a challenging descent awaits you to Neustadt an der Weinstraße for an individual lunch break. From the hill, you can see Hambach Castle. Refreshed, you will cycle over Diedesfeld and Maikammer to St. Martin and through Edenkoben to Roth and Rietburg. Departure through the picturesque Theresienstraße, along the oldest vineyard and through typical wine villages to Landau. Check-in at the hotel and dinner at the "Raddegaggl-Stubb" (about 450 m on foot from the hotel).

Day 2 | Palatinate Forest – Return Journey

Breakfast and departure for the cycling tour initially to the stream Queich, which you will follow to Annweiler. The ride leads up into the Palatinate Forest. You will follow the Klingbach until it leaves the forest, and after a short, steep ascent, a view over the Rhine plain awaits you. To conclude the trip, we invite you to a wine tasting and Palatinate snack at the winemaker's estate in Hergersweiler. After that, the return journey by bus will take place.

The routes primarily run on bike paths or forest and economic roads. Parking spaces are reserved for bicycles in the adjacent public underground garage; you must lock your bike with your insurance-compliant bike lock.
