Day 1 | Arrival in Biberach an der Riß

Departure in the morning and drive towards Oberschwaben – to Biberach an der Riß. The city has a rich historical past. During a guided tour, you will discover all the important sights of the former imperial city. Afterwards, you will have free time and the opportunity to visit the Christmas market, which offers a rich Christmas selection with many specialties at around 80 stalls. In the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel and individual evening arrangements.

Day 2 | “Öchsle” & Christmas Market in

Ochsenhausen

After breakfast, you will travel to Warthausen, where you will take a romantic winter steam ride on the historic museum narrow-gauge railway “Öchsle”. Puffing and steaming, the “Öchsle” will take you on a journey of about an hour through the Oberschwaben winter landscape to Ochsenhausen. Here, you will find glassblowing art, the scent of Christmas delicacies, the ringing of bells, and organ music. Against the picturesque backdrop of the church and monastery, the “Christmas Market in the Heaven of Baroque” is one of the most beautiful markets in the region. In front of the magnificent monastery church, a charming Christmas village is created from around 35 lovingly decorated wooden houses in the area of the former monastery complex. In the afternoon, you will then begin your journey home.
