Day 1 | Overnight Stay in the Como Area

Departure in the morning to the Como area for an overnight stay.

Day 2 | Ferry Crossing to Elba

Continue to Piombino for the ferry crossing to Portoferraio on Elba. The one-hour crossing already offers a fantastic panorama of the island, and upon arrival at the beautiful harbor of Portoferraio, you will be immediately captivated by the charm of the island. After arrival, you will continue to your hotel.

Day 3 | Capoliveri – Porto Azzurro

Capoliveri is prominently visible on a hill and is one of the most charming places on the island with its winding alleys and stairs. The center of the town is the beautiful Piazza Matteotti, surrounded by numerous cafés and bars. From the viewpoint of the square, there are stunning views of the Gulf of Porto Azzurro and the Gulf Stella. You will spend the afternoon in Porto Azzurro, the “Blue Harbor.” Today, many sailing and motor yachts are moored in the picturesque harbor of this former fishing village alongside small fishing boats. Narrow alleys and houses from the 17th and 18th centuries shape the historic center. Stroll leisurely along the promenade and enjoy a cappuccino in one of the many cafés. To conclude the day, we invite you to a wine tasting in the Capoliveri area.

Day 4 | Villa di San Martino – Marina di Campo

In the morning, the journey first leads into the mountainous interior, and you will visit Napoleon's summer residence, Villa di San Martino. Discover neoclassical architecture and a museum that collects Napoleonic relics. Afterwards, continue to Marina di Campo. Here lies Elba's longest beach, surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. In the historic town center, with its picturesque houses and alleys, the character of the old fishing village is still palpable.

Day 5 | Rio nell'Elba – Cavo – Rio Marina

Today, you will first head to the northeast of the island. At the foot of Monte Strega lies the town of Rio nell'Elba, one of the oldest municipalities on Elba. Via Cavo, you will then reach Rio Marina, which was once the center of mining. The colors are striking in Rio Marina. The town is surrounded by hills in the reddish tones typical of iron-rich rock. With a “mine train,” you will embark on an exploration in a nearly Mars-like landscape.

Day 6 | West Coast of Elba

Enjoy magnificent views during your excursion in the western part of the island today. You will travel through Cavoli, Seccheto, and Fetovaia to the town of Marciana Alta. The charming mountain village is situated at an altitude of 375 m amidst the highest elevations of the island. After a stay, you will descend to the seaside resort of Marciana Marina. In the small, rocky alleys that lead through gardens with vines, orange, and lemon trees to the sea or to the piazza, you will feel transported to another time.

Day 7 | Ferry Crossing – Overnight Stay in the Como Area

Day 8 | Return Journey
