Travel Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in South Tyrol
Departure in the morning to South Tyrol. You will be warmly welcomed at the Hotel Ploseblick with a welcome schnapps. Room allocation and dinner.
Day 2 | Seiser Alm and Kastelruth
Drive to Seis and from there take the cable car to Seiser Alm, Europe's largest high alpine pasture. A sunny snow landscape and the panorama of the imposing Dolomites await you! In the afternoon, you will return to Seis by cable car and continue to Kastelruth, in the heart of the Dolomites. After a sightseeing stop, you will return to your hotel.
Day 3 | Fugger Town Sterzing – Ridnauntal
After a hearty breakfast, today’s journey takes you to the Fugger town of Sterzing, the northernmost town in Italy. Sterzing enchants its visitors with an incomparable charm. After a sightseeing stop, you will continue to Ridnaun. Experience the legendary tranquility and breathe in the fresh, wintry mountain air. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 | Pilgrimage Church of Heilig Geist – Ahrntal with Crib Museum
After a generous vital breakfast, you will take an excursion to Kasern. A gentle walking path will take you to the chapel in Heilig Geist in about 20 minutes. Heilig Geist is a venerable place, sanctified by the history and faith of many generations. From Kasern to Heilig Geist, 15 covered wooden pillars are set up, into which reliefs depicting the Passion of the Lord are carved. Afterwards, drive to the rustic and original Ahrntal to visit the Maranatha Crib Museum. The museum showcases the history of wood carving and the Christmas crib in Ahrntal. Folk Tyrolean cribs, oriental, and modern representations are on display. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 5 | Brixen and New Year's Eve Celebration
In the morning, you will travel to the bishop's city of Brixen. The baroque city of Brixen is the oldest city in Tyrol and a medieval bishop's city since 901. Here, culture and history greet you at every turn. Around noon, you will continue to Vals with the option to stop for a meal and a short hike through the snowy mountain landscape. In the early afternoon, you will return to the hotel. Perhaps you will use the remaining free time until New Year's Eve for a small winter hike or relax in the hotel's spa. In the evening, a festive gala dinner awaits you for the New Year’s celebration with live music and entertainment.
Day 6 | Dolomites Tour
After a cozy breakfast, we invite you to a tour through the Dolomites. The drive leads through the Pustertal to St. Lorenzen and from there through the famous Alta Badia (Gadertal) to Corvara. Continue over the Grödner Pass into the Gröden Valley with a short stop in St. Ulrich. The town became famous for its artistic wood carvings, which have been crafted here for generations by skilled carving families.
Day 7 | Return Journey
“Ciao” and goodbye. After breakfast, the luggage will be loaded, and you will begin your journey home.
