Day 1 | Arrival in Portorož

Departure in the early morning and drive to Portorož. In the evening, you will be warmly welcomed at the hotel with a welcome drink. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Portorož and Piran

Today you will get to know your holiday destination Portorož better and discover the hidden corners of this popular coastal town. The cityscape is characterized by magnificent buildings from the imperial and royal era, as well as parks full of roses that give the city its name. Afterwards, you will continue to Piran. At every turn, you will encounter evidence of a rich Venetian past. The winged lion, the symbol of the lagoon city, can be found on the facades of palaces and churches, on fountains and squares. In the afternoon, return to Portorož. Perhaps you will use the time until dinner for a visit to the thermal and seawater swimming pools of the LifeClass Hotels & Spa?

Day 3 | Trieste and Karst Region

In the morning, you will start with your tour guide on an excursion to Trieste. The Italian city on the Adriatic was under Habsburg-Austrian rule until 1919. These 500 years have significantly shaped the cityscape. During a guided tour, you will see how the architecture of the palaces in the center often resembles that of Prague, Vienna, or Budapest more than that of Venice, Rome, or Florence. After some free time, you will continue to the Karst region and visit the medieval village of Štanjel, one of the oldest settlements in the Karst area. The castle complex, the defensive towers, the St. Daniel Church with a lemon-shaped bell tower, and the numerous adjoining houses are the most famous architectural heritage of the old settlement. To conclude the day, we invite you to visit a wine cellar with a wine tasting. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Istria Tour

After breakfast, you will drive over the Slovenian-Croatian border past the town of Umag to Poreč. The picturesque Poreč, located on a small peninsula, 16 km south of Novigrad, is Istria's largest tourist destination. The old town is adorned with beautiful historical buildings. After an individual coffee break, you will continue to Rovinj. The Adriatic has nourished the inhabitants from rich fishing grounds since ancient times, bringing the city friends and foes, wealth and ruin. The strongly Venetian and somewhat Italian-influenced town has some impressive photo opportunities: at the harbor, the red clock tower, the baroque Balbi arch from 1680, the town hall from the 17th century, and on the hill, the church of St. Euphemia. The return to the hotel takes you through the interior to Motovun, a typical Istrian fortified town. Short photo stop and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 | Free Time

Today is all yours! Take advantage of every bit of sunshine, surrounded by picturesque views of mighty cliffs and salt fields. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the promenade or use the thermal and seawater swimming pools of the LifeClass Hotels and Spa.

Day 6 | Departure

Today it is time to say goodbye to Slovenia. With many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage, you will begin your journey home.
